Return / Warranty Policy


INSPECT YOUR ORDER IMMEDIATELY!!! IF YOU HAVE ANY BROKEN OR MISSING ITEMS YOU MUST CONTACT US WITHIN 24 HOURS OF DELIVERY TO REPORT DAMAGE! A photo would be helpful to confirm the damage.


Types of Returns Accepted:

  • Shipped the wrong item
  • Damaged during delivery
  • Unopened, resalable “like new” item
  • Defective product in warranty period, unless item must go directly back to manufacturer

Shipped wrong item

  • We photograph all contents prior to packaging and shipping. If something is missing please let us know as soon as possible so that we can check our records and confirm the contents of your delivery. We will send you a shipping label and send the correct item once we receive the wrong item. If time is of the essence we can ship the correct item after charging you the wrong one and then issuing credit for the wrong item when we receive it back.

Damage during delivery

  • Items damaged during shipment are returnable if noted upon delivery. You have 24 hours to contact us upon receiving the damaged items. If you do not contact us in that 24 hour period we will not allow a return for that item. Once we are contacted, we will ask for a picture of the damage. Upon receiving the picture we will send you the return label. When we receive the damaged item we will send out the replacement item. If time is of the essence we can ship the undamaged item after charging you for it and then issuing credit for the damaged item when we receive it back minus the shipping cost.

Unopened, Resalable “like new” items

  • If you receive an item and with in 30 days decide that you don't want the item we will refund your money minus a 20% restocking fee and the shipping cost. When we receive it back we must first make sure it is in the original packaging, if nutrients we must make sure the seal hasn't been broken. We don't pay for the return shipping.
  • THERE ARE SOME ITEMS THAT ARE NOT RETURNABLE!

Defective Products under Warranty

  • If a product is defective during its warranty period and it needs to be returned to the manufacturer we will help you through this process. You can email us at returns@greenearthhydroponics.com. If it needs to go directly from you to the manufacturer we will give you the information needed to help you proceed with the return process directly with the manufacturer.

Special Orders Grow Tents Bulbs Used items, opened items that are not in original packaging


Special Order
  • All special order items are NOT returnable unless damaged during shipment. Please note the damage upon delivery and contact us as soon as possible but not later than 24 hours after receiving the item(s). PLEASE make sure you order CAREFULLY. You cannot cancel special order items unless it has not shipped.


Grow Tents

  • Grow tents are not returnable for two reasons. One the cost of shipping the item is not worth amount of money you receive. If you were to open the grow tent it will never fit back in the box it came in. You would have better luck trying to sell it your self than you would to pay to ship it back and pay the restock fee of 30%.

Bulbs

  • All bulbs that leave are facility have been etched with a date code on them. For this reason we cannot accept returns. Once the date code has been etched on them the warranty period has already begun. We would never be able to sell these items to anyone as new. Again, you would have better luck trying to sell the bulb yourself. If a bulb is defective please contact our returns department and we will work on a warranty return for you.

Used items

  • Although you may think we are trying to be funny we aren't. No one wants your used items when they think they are buying new. Not to be rude but if you don't want the item it's very possible that no one else does either. You would probably have your best luck selling the item on Craigslist.

Can I cancel my order?

Yes, you may cancel your order anytime before the order ships. Once the order leaves the warehouse it will need to be treated as a return and will have a 20% restocking fee deducted from your refund for non special order items.

All returns must be preauthorized

Any item received without pre-authorization will be held for a period of 30 days. If we are not contacted in this time the item will be considered abandoned.
